Hydraulic Thumb Grapple Fitted to a Kubota KX060-5
Our team recently attended a customer’s site to carry out a range of engineering plant work, including the installation of a hydraulic thumb grapple onto a Kubota KX060-5 excavator.
The hydraulic thumb grapple is a valuable attachment for handling timber, branches, rubble and other materials safely and efficiently. Once fitted, it gives the operator greater control when lifting, sorting and positioning materials on site.
Work Completed on Site
The work included:
- Inspecting the Kubota KX060-5 and checking attachment compatibility
- Fitting the hydraulic thumb grapple securely to the excavator
- Installing and connecting the hydraulic components
- Checking hose routing and attachment movement
- Testing the grapple through its full range of operation
- Carrying out final safety and operational checks
The installation was completed with care to ensure the attachment operated smoothly and safely alongside the excavator’s existing hydraulic system.
As well as fitting the hydraulic thumb grapple, we also carried out additional work at the customer’s location, helping keep their machinery operational and ready for the demands of the job.
The completed Kubota KX060-5 is now equipped with a versatile attachment that will improve material handling, reduce manual work and increase productivity on site.
